An honest exception

The iPhone SE (2016, 1st gen): the one we cannot buy.

Its parts no longer have a second life, so any price we offered would be pretend. It is the only model on this list we will never buy, and we would rather say so plainly than let you post it and find out.

Which phone this is

The iPhone SE (2016, 1st gen) went on sale in March 2016. It has a 4 inch LCD screen and came in 16 GB, 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB.

The last 4 inch iPhone Apple made, and the smallest phone on this list by some distance.

A phone this old is on a battery that has been through a decade of charge cycles, and the 4 inch screen means there was never much of one to begin with.

Sure it is this one?

It is the shape of the iPhone 5s: 4 inches, a home button, and a phone that disappears into a pocket. Both later SEs are 4.7 inch phones and noticeably bigger in the hand. In Settings, General, About this one reads iPhone SE with no generation after it.

Got the newer SE?

The SE (2020) and SE (2022) look almost identical to the original from the front. Check the model in Settings, General, About. If yours says SE 2nd or 3rd generation, we will happily pay for it.

If you sell us a different one

You can send any share of what we pay you, up to all of it, to a UK charity you choose. It is one question at the end of the form and it changes nothing else. How One Last Job works.
