Is ReMint legit? Who we are and how to check us

Yes. ReMint is the trading name of iMint Ltd, a limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 16681436, with its registered office at 2 Toomers Wharf, Canal Walk, Newbury, Berkshire, RG14 1DY. You can look up the company, its directors and its filings free on Companies House (find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/16681436). We buy iPhones only: working, cracked or faulty, as long as they switch on. Our only website is remint.uk, and the phones are tested at our unit in Swadlincote, Derbyshire. We are not connected to other businesses or products that also use the name Remint.

How a sale works, and what protects you at each step. We post you a free postage pack with a prepaid tracked Royal Mail label. Your price is locked for 10 days once you order. We check your phone within one working day of it arriving, and pay by bank transfer within 48 hours of it arriving, counted Monday to Friday. Your account shows every step, from the pack being sent to the payment leaving us.

If your phone is not as described, you decide. We never make a silent deduction. If the phone does not match the condition you chose, we send a revised offer with the reason, and you can accept it or have your phone posted back to you free of charge.

Your data is erased to a named standard. Every phone is erased in line with NIST SP 800-88 and IEEE 2883 as part of intake testing, before it goes anywhere near resale, and the erasure software writes its own record against your order, which you can read in your account. Nobody here browses devices.

We do not buy phones that will not switch on. We cannot test a phone that will not power on, or erase it to standard, so any price would be a guess. Your council's recycling centre and any Apple store take those free.

If your parcel goes missing in the post, every postage pack travels on a tracked Royal Mail service. Keep your free proof of posting receipt and we handle the Royal Mail claim for you; the details are in our terms.

What we will not claim. iMint Ltd is a young company, so there is no long trading history, sales count or review score on this page, and we will not invent one. What you can check today is the company filing, our terms, and your own order, which shows every step as it happens. If anything about a sale is unclear, reply to any email from us and a person answers.
