The iPhone 18 Pro Max has a 6.9 inch Super Retina XDR panel running at 120 Hz. A big panel and a fast one is the dearest combination there is, which is why a site pricing damage as scrap quotes almost nothing for a broken one.
With the picture still good, a cracked one runs 256 GB £744, 512 GB £804, 1 TB £854 and 2 TB £894. If the display itself is damaged rather than the glass over it, a 256 GB is £504.

My iPhone 18 Pro Max has a cracked screen. Do I get next to nothing for it?
You will not, as long as the picture underneath is perfect and it is still the original screen. The glass and the picture are graded separately: cracked glass on its own is "picture fine", because the picture is what that word means to us, and a cracked iPhone 18 Pro Max sits in our middle grade, not the scrap pile. The lower grade is for the picture itself being faulty, lines, blotches, blank patches, or a screen that ignores your finger, and for a non original replacement screen. A cracked back is graded exactly like a cracked front, so it does not drop you down either.

Can I sell an iPhone 18 Pro Max that is locked to a network?
Yes, though odds are you do not need to worry at all: UK networks were banned from selling locked handsets in December 2021, so an iPhone 18 Pro Max bought new here, like nearly every phone from the iPhone 13 onwards, is almost certainly unlocked already. If yours really is locked we still buy it, and a fixed amount, shown in pounds before you commit to anything, comes off the quote, which is what a locked phone costs us to deal with. Do it in Settings before you post the iPhone 18 Pro Max, or sign in at iCloud.com and remove the device afterwards. A phone that arrives locked is held for 14 days to give you time to sort it.
