Price by storage and condition
| Galaxy S24+ | Works fine | Not perfect, screen works | Screen broken |
|---|---|---|---|
| 256 GB | £135 | £131 | £88 |
| 512 GB | £140 | £135 | £92 |
Every figure is today’s price list, the same one the quote reads.
The broken price is not a scrap price. With the display faulty a 256 GB Galaxy S24+ still keeps well over half of the working figure; with only the glass cracked it keeps almost the whole of it.
About the Galaxy S24+
Bigger than the standard S24, smaller than the Ultra, no pen: that is the Galaxy S24+. On the trade lists it sits a whisker above the standard model, often level with it, because buyers want the same parts from both.
Two years on, the Galaxy S24+ is in the part of its life where most people upgrade, and where a crack or a dead screen often decides it. It still sells well to the trade, working or not, as long as it switches on.
Sure it is this one?
Open Settings, then About phone. The name is at the top (Galaxy S24+) and the model number under it: a Galaxy S24+ starts SM-S926, with a letter after it for the region, like SM-S926B for a UK phone. Storage is under Settings, Battery and device care, Storage.
Questions about selling your Galaxy S24+
Do you buy a Galaxy S24+ with screen burn-in?
We do, at the Screen broken price, up to £92 for a 512 GB. Open a plain grey picture full screen: if a ghost of the keyboard or the clock shows through, that is burn-in, and only a new panel cures it.
Do I need to remove my Google account?
You do, and your Samsung account too. Google's Factory Reset Protection locks a reset phone to the last account on it, which stops us testing, wiping or paying. Settings, Accounts and backup, Manage accounts does it in a minute; with a dead screen, sign the phone out of your Google account from a computer instead.
My fingerprint reader stopped working after the crack. Which grade?
It depends on the picture, not the reader. Good picture, dead fingerprint: Not perfect, screen works. Lines or burn-in as well: Screen broken.
The screen was replaced. Does that matter?
Only if it is not genuine. A Samsung Service Pack screen counts as original; an aftermarket or OLED copy is Screen broken. There is no warning in Settings to check, so we look at it on arrival and, if it is a copy, offer you the revised price or the phone back free.
How fast do I get paid?
Within two working days of it reaching us, straight to your bank. The quote holds for ten days from your order, and a phone that tests differently gets a revised offer you can turn down for a free return.
