Every figure is today’s price list, the same one the quote reads.

The broken price is not a scrap price. With the display faulty a 256 GB Galaxy S25 Ultra still keeps about half of the working figure; with only the glass cracked it keeps almost the whole of it.

About the Galaxy S25 Ultra

Of the S25 phones the Ultra is the big one, and the only one with a pen built in. Trade buyers want its board and cameras even under a smashed screen, so a Galaxy S25 Ultra keeps a good price in every grade. Keep the S Pen with it if you are selling it as Works fine; if it is cracked or faulty, a missing pen changes nothing.

A Galaxy S25 Ultra is a year or so old: young enough that buyers still want the parts and the whole phone, old enough that the price is moving down month by month. Selling sooner rather than later is worth more than waiting.

Sure it is this one?

Open Settings, then About phone. The name is at the top (Galaxy S25 Ultra) and the model number under it: a Galaxy S25 Ultra starts SM-S938, with a letter after it for the region, like SM-S938B for a UK phone. Storage is under Settings, Battery and device care, Storage. Every Ultra in the S22 to S26 range has an S Pen that slides out of the bottom edge.

Questions about selling your Galaxy S25 Ultra

Do you buy a Galaxy S25 Ultra with screen burn-in?

We do, at the Screen broken price, up to £213 for a 1 TB. Open a plain grey picture full screen: if a ghost of the keyboard or the clock shows through, that is burn-in, and only a new panel cures it.

Do I need to remove my Google account?

You do, and your Samsung account too. Google's Factory Reset Protection locks a reset phone to the last account on it, which stops us testing, wiping or paying. Settings, Accounts and backup, Manage accounts does it in a minute; with a dead screen, sign the phone out of your Google account from a computer instead.

Does the S Pen have to come with it?

Only for the top grade. A Works fine Ultra needs its pen in the slot and writing on the screen; cracked or faulty, the pen can be lost or broken and the price stays the same.

My fingerprint reader stopped working after the crack. Which grade?

It depends on the picture, not the reader. Good picture, dead fingerprint: Not perfect, screen works. Lines or burn-in as well: Screen broken.

The screen was replaced. Does that matter?

Only if it is not genuine. A Samsung Service Pack screen counts as original; an aftermarket or OLED copy is Screen broken. There is no warning in Settings to check, so we look at it on arrival and, if it is a copy, offer you the revised price or the phone back free.

How fast do I get paid?

Within two working days of it reaching us, straight to your bank. The quote holds for ten days from your order, and a phone that tests differently gets a revised offer you can turn down for a free return.
