The picture decides the grade: cracked glass over a perfect picture is Not perfect, screen works; lines, burn-in, dead pixels, a tint, touch faults, a black screen or an aftermarket screen is Screen broken. Hidden faults, battery to fingerprint, are accepted in both.

The broken price is not a scrap price. With the display faulty a 1 TB Galaxy S25 Ultra still keeps about half of the working figure; with only the glass cracked it keeps almost the whole of it.
Where the Galaxy S25 Ultra sits
Of the S25 phones the Ultra is the big one, and the only one with a pen built in. Trade buyers want its board and cameras even under a smashed screen, so a Galaxy S25 Ultra keeps a good price in every grade. Keep the S Pen with it if you are selling it as Works fine; if it is cracked or faulty, a missing pen changes nothing.
A Galaxy S25 Ultra is a year or so old: young enough that buyers still want the parts and the whole phone, old enough that the price is moving down month by month. Selling sooner rather than later is worth more than waiting.

The name is at the top (Galaxy S25 Ultra) and the model number under it: a Galaxy S25 Ultra starts SM-S938, with a letter after it for the region, like SM-S938B for a UK phone. Storage is under Settings, Battery and device care, Storage. Every Ultra in the S22 to S26 range has an S Pen that slides out of the bottom edge.
Screen broken on a Galaxy: what counts
Lines, blots, dead pixels, a green or pink tint, touch that does not respond, a black screen that still rings, burn-in (a ghost of the keyboard, navigation bar or clock that stays on screen), or an aftermarket or OLED copy screen. All of them are Screen broken, up to £213 for a 1 TB. An original screen, or a genuine Samsung Service Pack replacement, counts as original, and cracked glass over a perfect picture is the better grade, Not perfect, screen works. Samsung shows no message for a replaced screen, so we check it on arrival: if it is not original we send a revised offer you can accept, or we post the phone back free. It has to switch on and charge, and it must not be blacklisted or still signed in to a Google or Samsung account.

Do you buy a Galaxy S25 Ultra with screen burn-in?
We do, at the Screen broken price, up to £213 for a 1 TB. Open a plain grey picture full screen: if a ghost of the keyboard or the clock shows through, that is burn-in, and only a new panel cures it.
Do I need to remove my Google account?
Before it goes in the post, yes: Find My Mobile off, then the Google and Samsung accounts removed. A phone that arrives still signed in is locked by Factory Reset Protection after a wipe, and a locked phone is the one thing we cannot pay for.
Does the S Pen have to come with it?
For Works fine, yes: it has to be in the phone and writing. A missing or broken S Pen is fine in the two faulty grades and takes nothing extra off them.
My fingerprint reader stopped working after the crack. Which grade?
Not perfect, screen works, as long as the picture is clean. The reader sits under the display, so a crack often kills it, but a dead reader alone does not make the screen broken.
The screen was replaced. Does that matter?
A genuine Samsung Service Pack screen is treated exactly like the original. A copy screen, OLED or otherwise, prices as Screen broken. We check every screen when it lands and tell you before anything changes: take the new offer or have it back free.
