A 512 GB Galaxy S25+ with a cracked screen that still shows a perfect picture is £204. With lines, burn-in or a black screen it is £114. A smashed screen takes less off than most people expect: it has to switch on, and that is about it.

Condition

What counts as Screen broken

  • Lines, blots, burn-in, dead pixels, a green or pink tint, or a black screen
  • Touch that does not respond, or works only in places
  • An aftermarket or OLED copy replacement screen
  • Smashed glass, cameras, fingerprint or buttons broken too
  • Any battery health
  • Will not switch on or charge: we cannot buy it
  • A swollen battery: not safe to post

Our bench checks every phone against the grade you chose. If it does not match, you get a revised price to accept or decline, with a free return either way.

Storage

  • Paid by bank transfer within 48 hours of it arriving, Monday to Friday
  • Post it today at any Post Office: any box, no printer, no pack
  • Say no to a revised offer and it comes back free
  • Excellent on Trustpilot, read the reviews

The picture decides the grade: cracked glass over a perfect picture is Not perfect, screen works; lines, burn-in, dead pixels, a tint, touch faults, a black screen or an aftermarket screen is Screen broken. Hidden faults, battery to fingerprint, are accepted in both.

Every figure is today’s price list, the same one the quote reads.

On today's list a 512 GB Galaxy S25+ with the screen gone keeps about half of its working price, and one with cracked glass over a good picture keeps almost the whole of it.

Where the Galaxy S25+ sits

If yours says Galaxy S25+ in About phone, it is the larger of the two non Ultra S25 phones. The extra screen size buys only a few pounds over the standard model on today's list, and at some sizes none at all.

A Galaxy S25+ is a year or so old: young enough that buyers still want the parts and the whole phone, old enough that the price is moving down month by month. Selling sooner rather than later is worth more than waiting.

Sure it is this one?

Open Settings, then About phone. The name is at the top (Galaxy S25+) and the model number under it: a Galaxy S25+ starts SM-S936, with a letter after it for the region, like SM-S936B for a UK phone. Storage is under Settings, Battery and device care, Storage.

Screen broken on a Galaxy: what counts

Lines, blots, dead pixels, a green or pink tint, touch that does not respond, a black screen that still rings, burn-in (a ghost of the keyboard, navigation bar or clock that stays on screen), or an aftermarket or OLED copy screen. All of them are Screen broken, up to £114 for a 512 GB. An original screen, or a genuine Samsung Service Pack replacement, counts as original, and cracked glass over a perfect picture is the better grade, Not perfect, screen works. Samsung shows no message for a replaced screen, so we check it on arrival: if it is not original we send a revised offer you can accept, or we post the phone back free. It has to switch on and charge, and it must not be blacklisted or still signed in to a Google or Samsung account.

Questions about selling a broken Galaxy S25+

Do you buy a Galaxy S25+ with screen burn-in?

Yes, and it is one of the commonest faults on an older Galaxy. A ghost of the navigation bar or keyboard that never goes away counts as Screen broken, which pays up to £114 for a 512 GB that still switches on.

Do I need to remove my Google account?

Yes. Turn off Find My Mobile and remove your Google and Samsung accounts before you post it. A Galaxy still linked to a Google account locks itself after a reset (Factory Reset Protection), so we cannot test or wipe it, and we would have to send it back. With a broken screen you can remove the phone from your Google account on a computer.

My fingerprint reader stopped working after the crack. Which grade?

Not perfect, screen works, as long as the picture is clean. The reader sits under the display, so a crack often kills it, but a dead reader alone does not make the screen broken.

The screen was replaced. Does that matter?

Only if it is not genuine. A Samsung Service Pack screen counts as original; an aftermarket or OLED copy is Screen broken. There is no warning in Settings to check, so we look at it on arrival and, if it is a copy, offer you the revised price or the phone back free.

How fast do I get paid?

By bank transfer, within 48 hours of arrival, Monday to Friday. Nothing about your price changes without us telling you first, and a revised offer can always be refused for a free return.
