The 128 GB is the smallest iPhone 15 Plus Apple sold, so this is the bottom of the range for this phone. Every larger size is worth more. All three prices below are for the 128 GB and confirmed before you post anything.

Is the 128 GB worth checking?
Working, the 256 GB pays £20 more and the 512 GB pays £20 more. At the same capacity, the iPhone 15 pays £18 less and the iPhone 15 Pro pays £48 more.
With cracked glass and a good picture the same 128 GB is £170, and with a bad LCD or a replacement screen it is £92, so the cracked glass costs you £38 at this size rather than the whole value of the phone.
The same 128 GB in the models either side: iPhone 15 128 GB, iPhone 15 Pro 128 GB.
If Settings, General, About shows a Capacity other than 128 GB, use one of these instead: 256 GB, 512 GB.
How much is 128 GB in real life?
Knock off the 10 to 15 GB that iOS keeps for itself and you are left with about 110 GB to actually use. That is in the region of 36,000 photos at roughly 3 MB apiece, or about ten hours of 4K video at 30 frames a second, going by Apple's own on screen estimate of 170 MB a minute. Downloaded music barely registers: an album weighs in somewhere near 100 MB, so five hundred of them would not take this phone past half way. Apps sit on top, tens of megabytes for most, a few gigabytes for the biggest games, and this size absorbs them without fuss.
That arithmetic is why 128 GB became the size most owners stop thinking about. An ordinary photo library, the apps, the podcasts and the holiday videos all fit without management. The people who genuinely run out are the ones filming 4K every week, and they mostly knew to buy bigger on day one.
Why the step to 256 GB is £20 here
Apple has typically charged about a hundred pounds to go from 128 GB to 256 GB when these phones were new. Used, the same step on the iPhone 15 Plus is £20, and the shrinkage is the market talking: a second hand buyer pays for storage they will actually use, and most people never fill 128 GB in the first place.
That flattening cuts kindly for whoever bought the smaller size, and it also settles the question of waiting: storage premiums keep narrowing as a phone ages, so holding on will not grow the gap back.
Where the range starts
128 GB was the entry point for the iPhone 15 Plus, and entry sizes dominate the second hand supply the way they dominated the original sales. That is a statement about the market rather than a measurement of ours: nothing here counts how many of each size we take in, or how quickly one moves on compared with another, so this page will not tell you yours is the configuration we see most often or the one that sells on fastest. None of that needs anything from you beyond being on the right page, which, if the About screen agrees, is this one. Worth knowing too that no smaller iPhone 15 Plus was ever made. A phone showing 64 GB in Settings, General, About is an earlier model, not a bargain version of this one.
Worth knowing before you send it
A large battery does fewer full charge cycles for the same amount of use than a small one, so a 15 Plus is often in better health at a given age than a smaller phone of the same year. Check yours in Settings, Battery before you pick a grade.
Is this the iPhone 15 Plus you have?
6.7 inches with USB-C, a Dynamic Island and two cameras in a square bump. The 14 Plus is the same size with a notch and Lightning. The 16 Plus is the one with its two lenses in a tall pill.

The 128 GB question
What is an iPhone 15 Plus 128 GB worth right now?
The size half of it is settled by the page you are on: the 128 GB is the bottom rung of this model's ladder, and every larger size pays more. What is left is condition, and the three prices at the top of this page have already worked it out for the 128 GB: sound and working at the top, cracked glass with a good picture underneath in the middle, and a display with a fault of its own at the bottom. A battery under 80 per cent belongs in that middle one as well. Ordering holds your figure for 10 days.
Cracked screens, battery health, Find My and how fast you are paid are answered on the iPhone 15 Plus page.
