Sell your iPhone 15,
broken or not.

On 6 October 2026 ReMint pays £190 for a working iPhone 15 128GB, £170 if the glass is cracked and the picture is fine, and £98 if the picture is faulty. Price locked for 10 days. Bank transfer within 48 hours of arrival, Monday to Friday. Free return if you refuse a revised offer.

Prices updated 6 October 2026.

iPhone 15 128GB, Face ID failed, picture perfect: £170 against £190 working, 6 October 2026.

If your iPhone 15 is smashed, the screen underneath decides: a good one is Picture fine, a bad LCD or a replacement screen is Picture faulty. A cracked back, cracked glass or Face ID not working is allowed in either. It must switch on and charge; one that won't charge we cannot take.

The iPhone 15 went on sale in September 2023 with a 6.1 inch OLED screen, which makes it about 3 years old. This is the age where one is worth more to somebody who repairs phones than to anybody who scraps them, working or not. Get your price in a minute and post it free.

What we know about the iPhone 15

The first iPhone with USB-C, and the first non Pro model with the Dynamic Island. Both make it noticeably easier to sell on than the 14 next to it.

The USB-C port is the newest part of this phone and the one that gets used most. A port that has stopped charging reliably is a repair, not a write off, and we price it as one.

Is this the phone you have?

6.1 inches, USB-C, a Dynamic Island and two rear cameras in a square bump. The 14 before it has the same two lenses but a notch and a Lightning port. The 16 after it moved those two lenses into a tall pill shaped bump.

If the screen has gone

The iPhone 15 has a 6.1 inch Super Retina XDR OLED. A broken one is not scrap. The board, the cameras and the battery are untouched, and the panel itself is a part another iPhone 15 needs.

With the picture still good, a cracked one runs 128 GB £170, 256 GB £190 and 512 GB £195. If the display itself is damaged rather than the glass over it, a 128 GB is £98.

A faulty display leaves 52 per cent of the working price on a 128 GB, a little below the middle of our range. What a broken iPhone 15 is worth goes through every capacity.

Exact price for your size

This model came in 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB. Nothing changes between them but capacity: the same 6.1 inch screen, the same cameras and the same battery in all three.

Working, this model runs 128 GB £190, 256 GB £210 and 512 GB £215. At 128 GB, the iPhone 14 Pro Max pays £50 more and the iPhone 15 Plus pays £18 more.

USING ITITS WHOLE LIFE80%spent making it80%spent making it

Making a phone is where the damage is. Not using it. Which is why the greenest phone is one that already exists.

Selling this phone keeps roughly 45 kg of CO2e worth of manufacturing in use.

Where this figure comes from

Apple publishes a lifecycle footprint of 56 kg CO2e for a 128GB iPhone 15, from mining the materials to recycling the phone. Apple states 80 per cent production. That share of 56 kg is 45 kg.

Keeping a working iPhone 15 going displaces the manufacture of a new one, so we quote the 45 kg rather than the whole 56 kg. Charging it, shipping it and recycling it happen either way.

It says roughly because it assumes your iPhone 15 replaces one that would otherwise have been built. Apple's 56 kg is for the 128GB model as published in September 2023, and a larger size carries a larger footprint.

For a sense of scale, that is the same quantity of CO2e as driving about 170 miles in an average car.

Apple, Product Environmental Report: iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, September 2023. Mileage at 0.26915 kg CO2e per mile, UK Government conversion factors 2025.

Questions people ask before selling

What is an iPhone 15 worth right now?

Two things move it, and the quote on this page settles both in under a minute. Storage size matters on this model, so check yours in Settings, General, About before you answer. Condition does the rest: cracked glass or battery health below 80 per cent puts the phone in our middle grade, and a display with a fault of its own puts it in the bottom one. Whatever the quote comes to is locked for 10 days once you order.

What does my iPhone 15 need to do for you to buy it?

It has to switch on, charge, and work. Under 80% battery is priced as Picture fine. Works fine: no cracks, everything works, battery 80% or above. Picture fine: LCD is good, front or back glass can be smashed, and Face ID, a camera, sound or a button can be broken. Picture faulty: bad LCD, or an aftermarket screen, with the same faults allowed.

What counts as Works fine for an iPhone 15?

An iPhone 15 with whole glass, nothing wrong and a battery of at least 80 per cent. It earns the top figure above.

What counts as Picture fine for an iPhone 15?

The LCD is good: original screen, perfect picture, and the front or back glass can be smashed. A crack free phone with a battery under 80 per cent is priced here too. Face ID, a camera, sound or a button can be broken. Its price is the middle figure above.

What counts as Picture faulty for an iPhone 15?

The picture itself is wrong on this iPhone 15, or the screen is not original; Face ID, a camera or a button can be broken as well. That is our bottom grade, and it still pays real money because the rest of the phone keeps its value.

My iPhone 15 has a cracked screen. Do I get next to nothing for it?

You will not, as long as the picture underneath is perfect and it is still the original screen. The glass and the picture are graded separately: cracked glass on its own is "picture fine", because the picture is what that word means to us, and a cracked iPhone 15 sits in our middle grade, not the scrap pile. The lower grade is for the picture itself being faulty, lines, blotches, blank patches, or a screen that ignores your finger, and for a non original replacement screen. A cracked back is graded exactly like a cracked front, so it does not drop you down either.

Does low battery health matter on an iPhone 15?

The 80 per cent line in Settings, Battery is the thing to look at first. Above it, a crack free iPhone 15 is Working grade. Below it the phone counts as Picture fine, which is a real price rather than a refusal, and the quote shows you that number before you post anything.

Can I sell an iPhone 15 that is locked to a network?

Yes, though odds are you do not need to worry at all: UK networks were banned from selling locked handsets in December 2021, so an iPhone 15 bought new here, like nearly every phone from the iPhone 13 onwards, is almost certainly unlocked already. If yours really is locked we still buy it, and a fixed amount, shown in pounds before you commit to anything, comes off the quote, which is what a locked phone costs us to deal with. The free route is better: your network must unlock it at no charge when you ask, usually within a day or two, and only you can ask, because you are the account holder. Do that before you post it, answer unlocked, and the full price is yours.

Do I need to switch off Find My before selling my iPhone 15?

Find My must be switched off before we can buy the iPhone 15: it is Apple's Activation Lock, and a locked phone cannot be erased to standard or sold on. Settings does it while the phone is with you, and iCloud.com does it once it is posted. Arrive locked and we hold the phone for 14 days so you have the chance to remove it.

What if my iPhone 15 will not turn on?

We do not quote for one, for a reason we would rather say plainly: a phone that will not power on cannot be tested, and it cannot be verifiably erased, which means it would leave here carrying your data. Your council's recycling centre or an Apple store will take it, both free of charge.

How fast will I be paid for my iPhone 15, and can the offer drop?

We check the iPhone 15 within one working day of it arriving and pay by bank transfer within 48 hours of it arriving. If the phone does not match your answers, you get a revised offer and the reason for it, never a silent deduction. Turn the revised offer down and the phone comes back to you free.
