Prices updated 6 October 2026.
iPhone 14 Plus 128GB, Face ID failed, picture perfect: £104 against £107 working, 6 October 2026.
If your iPhone 14 Plus is smashed, the screen underneath decides: a good one is Picture fine, a bad LCD or a replacement screen is Picture faulty. A cracked back, cracked glass or Face ID not working is allowed in either. It must switch on and charge; one that won't charge we cannot take.
The iPhone 14 Plus went on sale in October 2022 with a 6.7 inch OLED screen, which makes it about 4 years old. This is the age where one is worth more to somebody who repairs phones than to anybody who scraps them, working or not. Get your price in a minute and post it free.

Not sure which one is yours? Picture fine means the picture is perfect however the glass looks. Picture faulty means the display itself is faulty or has been replaced. Hidden faults, battery to Face ID, are accepted in both. Our three grades, explained properly.
Prices shown for 128 GB, the smallest this model came in. A working 512 GB pays £25 more.
What we know about the iPhone 14 Plus
It shares the 14's repairable back glass, so a cracked back on this one is a far smaller job than on a 14 Pro Max, which did not get the redesign.
Apple has announced no service programme for the 14 Plus and there is no fault pattern we can point at, which we would rather say than invent one. The size is the thing worth knowing: 6.7 inches of OLED is a big panel and not a cheap one to replace, and we price a cracked one on that rather than writing it off.
Is this the phone you have?
A 6.7 inch iPhone with a notch and only two rear cameras is a 14 Plus. The 13 Pro Max is the same size with three lenses, and the 15 Plus has the pill shaped Dynamic Island instead of a notch.
If the screen has gone
The iPhone 14 Plus has a 6.7 inch Super Retina XDR OLED. That is a lot of glass. The panel is a part somebody wants and the rest of the phone still works.
With the picture still good, a cracked one runs 128 GB £104, 256 GB £117 and 512 GB £122. If the display itself is damaged rather than the glass over it, a 128 GB is £50.
A faulty display leaves 47 per cent of the working price on a 128 GB, a little below the middle of our range. What a broken iPhone 14 Plus is worth goes through every capacity.
Exact price for your size
This model came in 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB. Nothing changes between them but capacity: the same 6.7 inch screen, the same cameras and the same battery in all three.
Working, this model runs 128 GB £107, 256 GB £127 and 512 GB £132. At 128 GB, the iPhone 14 pays £12 more and the iPhone 14 Pro pays £93 more.
Why sell your iPhone 14 Plus to ReMint?
An iPhone 14 Plus is still somebody's next phone, which is why our number beats a scrap price. We repair what needs it, harvest what we cannot save, and sell direct from the warehouse we share with iMint.
Free tracked postage, checked within a working day, paid within 48 hours of it arriving, erased to recognised standards with the record kept.
Making a phone is where the damage is. Not using it. Which is why the greenest phone is one that already exists.
Selling this phone keeps roughly 53 kg of CO2e worth of manufacturing in use.
Where this figure comes from
Apple publishes a lifecycle footprint of 68 kg CO2e for a 128GB iPhone 14 Plus, from mining the materials to recycling the phone. Apple states 78 per cent production. That share of 68 kg is 53 kg.
Keeping a working iPhone 14 Plus going displaces the manufacture of a new one, so we quote the 53 kg rather than the whole 68 kg. Charging it, shipping it and recycling it happen either way.
It says roughly because it assumes your iPhone 14 Plus replaces one that would otherwise have been built. Apple's 68 kg is for the 128GB model as published in September 2022, and a larger size carries a larger footprint.
For a sense of scale, that is the same quantity of CO2e as driving about 200 miles in an average car.
Apple, Product Environmental Report: iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, September 2022. Mileage at 0.26915 kg CO2e per mile, UK Government conversion factors 2025.
Questions people ask before selling
What is an iPhone 14 Plus worth right now?
Size and condition, in that order. The sizes do not price the same on this model, so look yours up in Settings, General, About rather than guessing. Then condition, where the glass and the picture count separately: cracked glass with a perfect picture underneath is our middle grade (Picture fine), a faulty picture is our bottom grade, and battery health below 80 per cent goes in the middle grade too. The calculator on this page prices your exact combination, and once you order that price holds for 10 days.
What does my iPhone 14 Plus need to do for you to buy it?
It has to switch on, charge, and work. Under 80% battery is priced as Picture fine. Works fine: no cracks, everything works, battery 80% or above. Picture fine: LCD is good, front or back glass can be smashed, and Face ID, a camera, sound or a button can be broken. Picture faulty: bad LCD, or an aftermarket screen, with the same faults allowed.
What counts as Works fine for an iPhone 14 Plus?
No cracks front or back, everything works, battery health 80 per cent or above. That is the full price for your size, shown at the top of this page.
What counts as Picture fine for an iPhone 14 Plus?
Cracked glass on the front or a cracked back is fine as long as the original LCD shows a clean image; so is a battery under 80 per cent on a phone with no cracks. Face ID, a camera, sound or a button can also be broken.
What counts as Picture faulty for an iPhone 14 Plus?
A bad LCD (lines, blotches, blank patches, touch that does not respond) or an aftermarket replacement screen. Face ID, a camera, sound or a button can be broken too. It is the lowest of the three figures above.
My iPhone 14 Plus has a cracked screen. Do I get next to nothing for it?
No, and this is the thing we do differently. Your phone has two layers: the glass on top, and the picture underneath it. If the glass is cracked but the picture is still perfect, we call that "picture fine", because the part that shows you things is fine. That is our middle grade, not our bottom one, and a cracked iPhone 14 Plus with a perfect picture prices there. The bottom grade is for a fault in the picture itself: lines, blotches, blank patches, touch that does not respond, or a screen somebody has already replaced with a non original part. A cracked back counts the same as a cracked front. The quote on this page prices every grade.
Does low battery health matter on an iPhone 14 Plus?
It decides the grade, so check Settings, Battery before you answer the quote questions. At 80 per cent or above, with no cracks or faults, your iPhone 14 Plus is Working grade. Below 80 per cent it counts as Picture fine, which is a real price rather than a penalty, and the number is on your screen before you post the phone.
Can I sell an iPhone 14 Plus that is locked to a network?
You can: we buy network locked phones. Check the lock is really there first though, because it probably is not: selling locked handsets has been banned in the UK since December 2021, so phones from the iPhone 13 onwards, your iPhone 14 Plus included, are nearly always unlocked already. If yours is locked, a fixed amount, shown in pounds before you commit to anything, comes off the quote. Or keep the whole price: ask your network to unlock it before you post it, which is free, usually done within a day or two, and something only the account holder can do, so we cannot do it for you. Not sure is still an honest answer in the quote flow; nothing comes off for it, and if the phone turns out to be locked we tell you before anything else happens.
Do I need to switch off Find My before selling my iPhone 14 Plus?
It has to come off, because Find My is Apple's Activation Lock and nobody can wipe or resell a phone that still has it switched on. Do it in Settings before you post the iPhone 14 Plus, or sign in at iCloud.com and remove the device afterwards. A phone that arrives locked is held for 14 days to give you time to sort it.
What if my iPhone 14 Plus will not turn on?
We do not quote for one, for a reason we would rather say plainly: a phone that will not power on cannot be tested, and it cannot be verifiably erased, which means it would leave here carrying your data. Your council's recycling centre or an Apple store will take it, both free of charge.
How fast will I be paid for my iPhone 14 Plus, and can the offer drop?
We inspect within one working day of the phone arriving and pay by bank transfer within 48 hours of it arriving. If your iPhone 14 Plus does not match your answers, we do not quietly cut the payment. You get a revised offer with the reason, and you can accept it or have the phone returned free of charge.
If you are still weighing it up
Three things people ask before selling a iPhone 14 Plus, answered properly rather than in a sentence.
- How to check your iPhone storage size Open Settings, General, About and read the Capacity line. That is your storage size: 64 GB, 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB. It takes ten seconds.
- Selling an iPhone with a broken back camera: yes, here is how ReMint buys iPhones with a cracked lens, black or blurry rear camera. Grade it as picture fine and post it free.
- How much is my iPhone worth in 2026? The honest maths behind iPhone prices this year, model by model, and what moves them.
