Battery health 80% or more?

Not sure which one is yours? Picture fine means the picture is perfect however the glass looks. Picture faulty means the display itself is faulty or has been replaced. Hidden faults, battery to Face ID, are accepted in both. Our three grades, explained properly.
Is the 512 GB worth checking?
Working, the 128 GB pays £28 less, the 256 GB pays £11 less and the 1 TB pays the same. At the same capacity, the iPhone 15 Plus pays £56 less and the iPhone 15 Pro Max pays £76 more.
Smash the glass on a 512 GB and keep the picture, and it still pays £276; lose the picture or fit a replacement screen and it is £203. The glass is worth £8 at this size.
The same 512 GB in the models either side: iPhone 15 Plus 512 GB, iPhone 15 Pro Max 512 GB.
If Settings, General, About shows a Capacity other than 512 GB, use one of these instead: 128 GB, 256 GB, 1 TB.
Half a terabyte of phone
Even after iOS helps itself you keep roughly 490 GB, and the arithmetic turns absurd: two full days of continuous 4K at 170 MB a minute, or around 160,000 photos, or getting on for five thousand downloaded albums. Nobody fills this by accident.
Which tells you who owns one. A 512 GB phone belongs to somebody who films, records, archives or simply never deletes, and if that is you, the backup before the wipe is the one part of selling worth planning. Copying half a terabyte of originals off a phone can take the better part of a day over Wi-Fi, so a cable to a computer is the kinder route. Before you assume the worst, check the iPhone Storage screen in Settings: it shows exactly how much of the half terabyte you actually used, and the answer is often less frightening than the capacity suggests.
What the terabyte would have paid
At Working grade this page sits £11 above the 256 GB and £0 short of the 1 TB. The upper gap is the interesting one. Apple charged roughly two hundred pounds for it new, and the used step is a fraction of that, because a buyer who genuinely needs a terabyte is rare and everyone else prices room they will never use at close to nothing.
None of which you can change now, but it is the reason we quote each size exactly instead of folding them into one hopeful figure: on this model the sizes really are different money.
The filmer's size
On the iPhone 15 Pro the 512 GB sits above the sizes most people bought and below the terabyte almost nobody did. It is a deliberate choice, made by people who shoot a lot of video or simply never delete, and it behaves that way second hand too: fewer of them in circulation, met by a steady trickle of buyers who specifically want the room. Rare but wanted is a comfortable place for a price to sit. Do confirm the Capacity line before you settle on this page, because from the outside a 512 GB phone is identical to its smaller siblings and only one of them earns this number.
The iPhone 15 Pro in one paragraph
The first titanium iPhone and the first with the Action button in place of the mute switch.
Worth knowing before you send it
If you remember the stories about the 15 Pro running hot when it came out, that was real and Apple fixed it in software with iOS 17.0.3. It is not a fault in the phone and it does not affect what we pay.

The 512 GB question
What is an iPhone 15 Pro 512 GB worth right now?
The size half of it is settled by the page you are on: the 512 GB sits between the 256 GB and the 1 TB, so it pays more than the one and less than the other. Everything after that is condition. Glass and picture are graded separately here, so a cracked 512 GB whose picture is still perfect prices in the middle rather than at the bottom, and only a display faulty in itself goes lower. A battery under 80 per cent lands in that same middle grade. Whichever of the three figures above turns out to be yours is locked for 10 days once you order.
Cracked screens, battery health, Find My and how fast you are paid are answered on the iPhone 15 Pro page.
