We have stopped buying the iPhone XS Max.
The iPhone XS Max is a good phone that has simply aged out of what we can pay for. It is about 8 years old now. What one fetches today barely covers the postage, the testing and the erasing, so any number we put on it would be an insult dressed up as an offer. We would rather say that than quote you two pounds.
Which phone this is
The iPhone XS Max went on sale in September 2018. It has a 6.5 inch OLED screen and came in 64 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB.
The largest iPhone Apple had made when it arrived, and the same screen size as the 11 Pro Max that followed it.
A 6.5 inch sheet of glass is a lot of glass, and it lands badly.
Sure it is this one?
6.5 inches with two rear cameras stacked in the corner. The 11 Pro Max is the same screen size but carries three cameras and a matte back, and the XR of the same year has a single lens. Two lenses on a phone this large means the XS Max.
What we do buy
These are the phones we are paying for today whose screens are nearest the iPhone XS Max's 6.5 inches, so if the size is what you liked about it, start at the top of this list.
If you sell us a different one
You can send any share of what we pay you, up to all of it, to a UK charity you choose. It is one question at the end of the form and it changes nothing else. How One Last Job works.
