Sell your iPhone 11 Pro Max,
broken or not.
On 6 October 2026 ReMint pays £65 for a working iPhone 11 Pro Max 64GB, £53 if the glass is cracked and the picture is fine, and £19 if the picture is faulty. Price locked for 10 days. Bank transfer within 48 hours of arrival, Monday to Friday. Free return if you refuse a revised offer.
Prices updated 6 October 2026.
iPhone 11 Pro Max 64GB, Face ID failed, picture perfect: £53 against £65 working, 6 October 2026.
If your iPhone 11 Pro Max is smashed, the screen underneath decides: a good one is Picture fine, a bad LCD or a replacement screen is Picture faulty. A cracked back, cracked glass or Face ID not working is allowed in either. It must switch on and charge; one that won't charge we cannot take.
The iPhone 11 Pro Max went on sale in September 2019 with a 6.5 inch OLED screen, which makes it about 7 years old. Most sites have stopped looking properly at a phone this age, and at a broken one they barely look at all. We still do. Get your price in a minute and post it free.

Battery health 80% or more?

Not sure which one is yours? Picture fine means the picture is perfect however the glass looks. Picture faulty means the display itself is faulty or has been replaced. Hidden faults, battery to Face ID, are accepted in both. Our three grades, explained properly.
Prices shown for 64 GB, the smallest this model came in. A working 512 GB pays £4 more.
What we know about the iPhone 11 Pro Max
The three camera system arrived with this generation, so a cracked 11 Pro Max still has three working lenses in it.
A phone of this age that shuts down suddenly with charge still showing is describing a tired battery rather than a broken phone, and a battery is one of the cheapest things on it to put right. Grade it on the screen and the case, not on that.
Is this the phone you have?
6.5 inches, three cameras, matte back, stainless steel band. The XS Max is the same screen size with two cameras and a glossy back. If you can see three lenses on a phone this big, it is this one or a 12 Pro Max, and the 12 has flat sides where this has curved ones.
If the screen has gone
The iPhone 11 Pro Max has a 6.5 inch Super Retina XDR OLED. That is a lot of glass. The panel is a part somebody wants and the rest of the phone still works.
With the picture still good, a cracked one runs 64 GB £53, 256 GB £53 and 512 GB £53. If the display itself is damaged rather than the glass over it, a 64 GB is £19.
A faulty display leaves 29 per cent of the working price on a 64 GB, less than most of the phones we buy. What a broken iPhone 11 Pro Max is worth goes through every capacity.
Exact price for your size
This model came in 64 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB. Nothing changes between them but capacity: the same 6.5 inch screen, the same cameras and the same battery in all three.
Working, this model runs 64 GB £65, 256 GB £69 and 512 GB £69. At 64 GB, the iPhone 11 Pro pays £16 less and the iPhone SE (2020) pays £57 less.
Why sell your iPhone 11 Pro Max to ReMint?
An iPhone 11 Pro Max is worth more to somebody who repairs phones than to anybody who melts them down, and that is not an insult to it. Panels, batteries and cameras from this generation are still wanted, because plenty of these are still in daily use.
Free tracked postage, checked within a working day, paid within 48 hours of it arriving, erased to recognised standards with the record kept.
Making a phone is where the damage is. Not using it. Which is why the greenest phone is one that already exists.
Selling this phone keeps roughly 67 kg of CO2e worth of manufacturing in use.
Where this figure comes from
Apple publishes a lifecycle footprint of 86 kg CO2e for a 64GB iPhone 11 Pro Max, from mining the materials to recycling the phone. Apple states 78 per cent production. That share of 86 kg is 67 kg.
Keeping a working iPhone 11 Pro Max going displaces the manufacture of a new one, so we quote the 67 kg rather than the whole 86 kg. Charging it, shipping it and recycling it happen either way.
It says roughly because it assumes your iPhone 11 Pro Max replaces one that would otherwise have been built. Apple's 86 kg is for the 64GB model as published in September 2019, and a larger size carries a larger footprint.
For a sense of scale, that is the same quantity of CO2e as driving about 250 miles in an average car.
Apple, Product Environmental Report: iPhone 11 Pro Max, September 2019. Mileage at 0.26915 kg CO2e per mile, UK Government conversion factors 2025.
Questions people ask before selling
What is an iPhone 11 Pro Max worth right now?
Two things move it, and the quote on this page settles both in under a minute. Storage size matters on this model, so check yours in Settings, General, About before you answer. Condition does the rest: cracked glass or battery health below 80 per cent puts the phone in our middle grade, and a display with a fault of its own puts it in the bottom one. Whatever the quote comes to is locked for 10 days once you order.
What does my iPhone 11 Pro Max need to do for you to buy it?
It has to switch on, charge, and work. Under 80% battery is priced as Picture fine. Works fine: no cracks, everything works, battery 80% or above. Picture fine: LCD is good, front or back glass can be smashed, and Face ID, a camera, sound or a button can be broken. Picture faulty: bad LCD, or an aftermarket screen, with the same faults allowed.
What counts as Works fine for an iPhone 11 Pro Max?
Everything works, nothing is cracked and the battery reads 80 per cent or more. Your size's full price is at the head of this page.
What counts as Picture fine for an iPhone 11 Pro Max?
The LCD is good: original screen, perfect picture, and the front or back glass can be smashed. A crack free phone with a battery under 80 per cent is priced here too. Face ID, a camera, sound or a button can be broken. Its price is the middle figure above.
What counts as Picture faulty for an iPhone 11 Pro Max?
A bad LCD (lines, blotches, blank patches, touch that does not respond) or an aftermarket replacement screen. Face ID, a camera, sound or a button can be broken too. It is the lowest of the three figures above.
My iPhone 11 Pro Max has a cracked screen. Do I get next to nothing for it?
You will not, as long as the picture underneath is perfect and it is still the original screen. The glass and the picture are graded separately: cracked glass on its own is "picture fine", because the picture is what that word means to us, and a cracked iPhone 11 Pro Max sits in our middle grade, not the scrap pile. The lower grade is for the picture itself being faulty, lines, blotches, blank patches, or a screen that ignores your finger, and for a non original replacement screen. A cracked back is graded exactly like a cracked front, so it does not drop you down either.
Does low battery health matter on an iPhone 11 Pro Max?
Less than you might fear. An iPhone 11 Pro Max still on its original battery is likely to be under 80 per cent health by now, and that alone does not stop us buying it. Below 80 per cent the phone counts as Picture fine rather than Working, and you see exactly what that pays before you post anything.
Can I sell an iPhone 11 Pro Max that is locked to a network?
We do buy network locked phones, and an iPhone 11 Pro Max bought on contract may well be one: before the December 2021 ban on locked handsets, contract phones often stayed locked for years without their owners knowing. For a locked one, a fixed amount, shown in pounds before you commit to anything, comes off the quote, the cost to us of dealing with the lock. The better answer costs nothing: as the account holder you can ask your network to unlock it free, usually within a day or two, something we are not allowed to do on your behalf. Do it before you post it, answer unlocked in the quote flow, and you keep the whole price. Phones from the iPhone 13 onwards are nearly always unlocked already, so this mostly matters for models this age.
Do I need to switch off Find My before selling my iPhone 11 Pro Max?
It has to come off, because Find My is Apple's Activation Lock and nobody can wipe or resell a phone that still has it switched on. Do it in Settings before you post the iPhone 11 Pro Max, or sign in at iCloud.com and remove the device afterwards. A phone that arrives locked is held for 14 days to give you time to sort it.
What if my iPhone 11 Pro Max will not turn on?
We do not quote for one, for a reason we would rather say plainly: a phone that will not power on cannot be tested, and it cannot be verifiably erased, which means it would leave here carrying your data. Your council's recycling centre or an Apple store will take it, both free of charge.
How fast will I be paid for my iPhone 11 Pro Max, and can the offer drop?
Inspection happens within one working day of arrival, and the money follows by bank transfer within 48 hours of the phone arriving. If the iPhone 11 Pro Max in front of us does not match what you told us, the price does not just shrink: we send a revised offer with an explanation, and you choose between taking it and having the phone back free.
If you are still weighing it up
Three things people ask before selling a iPhone 11 Pro Max, answered properly rather than in a sentence.
- How to check your iPhone storage size Open Settings, General, About and read the Capacity line. That is your storage size: 64 GB, 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB. It takes ten seconds.
- Sell an iPhone with battery health under 80 percent A worn battery or a Service message does not stop you selling: how ReMint prices an iPhone with low battery health.
- How to turn off Find My iPhone before you sell The one setting that blocks every sale, and the two minute fix, even for a phone in a drawer.
