iPhone 16 Plus 128GB, Face ID failed, picture perfect: £264 against £280 working, 6 October 2026.
Selling a cracked or broken iPhone 16 Plus? A cracked iPhone with a good screen is Picture fine. A broken screen, lines, blotches or a replacement display, is Picture faulty. A smashed one with a cracked back or Face ID not working can be either; a phone that won't charge is one we cannot buy.
The iPhone 16 Plus went on sale in September 2024 with a 6.7 inch OLED screen, which makes it about 2 years old. On a phone this new the details set the price, so we ask about them before you post it rather than after it lands. Get your price in a minute and post it free.

Not sure which one is yours? Picture fine means the picture is perfect however the glass looks. Picture faulty means the display itself is faulty or has been replaced. Hidden faults, battery to Face ID, are accepted in both. Our three grades, explained properly.
Prices shown for 128 GB, the smallest this model came in. A working 512 GB pays £25 more.
What we know about the iPhone 16 Plus
It has the longest battery life of the 16 range, which is the main reason people chose it over the 16.
It has the Camera Control on the edge like the 16, on a body that is harder to hold one handed. A cracked one is still a phone we want.
Is this the phone you have?
The 6.7 inch version of the 16, with the same vertical camera pill and the same flush camera button low on the right hand edge. The 15 Plus has its lenses in a square bump and nothing on that edge.
If the screen has gone
The iPhone 16 Plus has a 6.7 inch Super Retina XDR OLED. That is a lot of glass. The panel is a part somebody wants and the rest of the phone still works.
With the picture still good, a cracked one runs 128 GB £264, 256 GB £264 and 512 GB £266. If the display itself is damaged rather than the glass over it, a 128 GB is £172.
A faulty display leaves 61 per cent of the working price on a 128 GB, one of the better ones on this site. What a broken iPhone 16 Plus is worth goes through every capacity.
Exact price for your size
This model came in 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB. Nothing changes between them but capacity: the same 6.7 inch screen, the same cameras and the same battery in all three.
Working, this model runs 128 GB £280, 256 GB £300 and 512 GB £305. At 128 GB, the iPhone 16 pays the same and the iPhone 16 Pro pays £50 more.
Why sell your iPhone 16 Plus to ReMint?
An iPhone 16 Plus has most of its life still in front of it and is priced here accordingly, with nobody standing between us and whoever ends up owning it.
Free tracked postage, checked within a working day, paid within 48 hours of it arriving, erased to recognised standards with the record kept.
Making a phone is where the damage is. Not using it. Which is why the greenest phone is one that already exists.
Selling this phone keeps roughly 47 kg of CO2e worth of manufacturing in use.
Where this figure comes from
Apple publishes a lifecycle footprint of 60 kg CO2e for a 128GB iPhone 16 Plus, from mining the materials to recycling the phone. Apple states 79 per cent production. That share of 60 kg is 47 kg.
Keeping a working iPhone 16 Plus going displaces the manufacture of a new one, so we quote the 47 kg rather than the whole 60 kg. Charging it, shipping it and recycling it happen either way.
It says roughly because it assumes your iPhone 16 Plus replaces one that would otherwise have been built. Apple's 60 kg is for the 128GB model as published in September 2024, and a larger size carries a larger footprint.
For a sense of scale, that is the same quantity of CO2e as driving about 170 miles in an average car.
Apple, Product Environmental Report: iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, September 2024. Mileage at 0.26915 kg CO2e per mile, UK Government conversion factors 2025.
Questions people ask before selling
What is an iPhone 16 Plus worth right now?
The quote above answers it exactly, and two things move the number. Size counts here, so check yours in Settings, General, About. Then condition, and the glass and the picture count separately: cracked glass with a good picture underneath is our middle grade, and a fault in the picture itself is the bottom one. Ordering locks your price for 10 days.
What does my iPhone 16 Plus need to do for you to buy it?
It has to switch on, charge, and work. Under 80% battery is priced as Picture fine. Works fine: no cracks, everything works, battery 80% or above. Picture fine: LCD is good, front or back glass can be smashed, and Face ID, a camera, sound or a button can be broken. Picture faulty: bad LCD, or an aftermarket screen, with the same faults allowed.
What counts as Works fine for an iPhone 16 Plus?
Everything works, nothing is cracked and the battery reads 80 per cent or more. Your size's full price is at the head of this page.
What counts as Picture fine for an iPhone 16 Plus?
The LCD is good: original screen, perfect picture, and the front or back glass can be smashed. A crack free phone with a battery under 80 per cent is priced here too. Face ID, a camera, sound or a button can be broken. Its price is the middle figure above.
What counts as Picture faulty for an iPhone 16 Plus?
The picture itself is wrong on this iPhone 16 Plus, or the screen is not original; Face ID, a camera or a button can be broken as well. That is our bottom grade, and it still pays real money because the rest of the phone keeps its value.
My iPhone 16 Plus has a cracked screen. Do I get next to nothing for it?
Quite the opposite: a cracked iPhone 16 Plus with a working picture is the exact phone this business was built to buy. Think of the glass and the picture as two separate things. Broken glass over a perfect picture is what we call "picture fine", which sounds odd until you know that screen there means the picture, not the glass. It is our middle grade rather than our bottom one. The bottom grade is for a display with a fault of its own, lines, blotches, blank patches, or touch that ignores your finger, and for a screen already swapped for a non original one. A cracked back sits in the same grade as a cracked front, and both figures are on the quote above.
Does low battery health matter on an iPhone 16 Plus?
Check Settings, Battery, but on a phone this new the answer is usually still 80 per cent or better, which leaves a crack free iPhone 16 Plus in the Working grade. If yours has dipped below the line it counts as Picture fine instead, and you will see exactly what that pays before you commit to posting it.
Can I sell an iPhone 16 Plus that is locked to a network?
Yes, though odds are you do not need to worry at all: UK networks were banned from selling locked handsets in December 2021, so an iPhone 16 Plus bought new here, like nearly every phone from the iPhone 13 onwards, is almost certainly unlocked already. If yours really is locked we still buy it, and a fixed amount, shown in pounds before you commit to anything, comes off the quote, which is what a locked phone costs us to deal with. The free route is better: your network must unlock it at no charge when you ask, usually within a day or two, and only you can ask, because you are the account holder. Do that before you post it, answer unlocked, and the full price is yours.
Do I need to switch off Find My before selling my iPhone 16 Plus?
Find My must be switched off before we can buy the iPhone 16 Plus: it is Apple's Activation Lock, and a locked phone cannot be erased to standard or sold on. Settings does it while the phone is with you, and iCloud.com does it once it is posted. Arrive locked and we hold the phone for 14 days so you have the chance to remove it.
What if my iPhone 16 Plus will not turn on?
We do not quote for one, for a reason we would rather say plainly: a phone that will not power on cannot be tested, and it cannot be verifiably erased, which means it would leave here carrying your data. Your council's recycling centre or an Apple store will take it, both free of charge.
How fast will I be paid for my iPhone 16 Plus, and can the offer drop?
We inspect within one working day of the phone arriving and pay by bank transfer within 48 hours of it arriving. If your iPhone 16 Plus does not match your answers, we do not quietly cut the payment. You get a revised offer with the reason, and you can accept it or have the phone returned free of charge.
If you are still weighing it up
Three things people ask before selling a iPhone 16 Plus, answered properly rather than in a sentence.
- How to check your iPhone storage size Open Settings, General, About and read the Capacity line. That is your storage size: 64 GB, 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB. It takes ten seconds.
- How much is my iPhone worth in 2026? The honest maths behind iPhone prices this year, model by model, and what moves them.
- Our three grades, explained properly Working, picture fine, picture faulty. Which one is yours, and why the difference is all about the display.
