On 6 October 2026 ReMint pays £330 for a working iPhone 16 Pro 128GB, £310 if the glass is cracked and the picture is fine, and £190 if the picture is faulty. Price locked for 10 days. Bank transfer within 48 hours of arrival, Monday to Friday. Free return if you refuse a revised offer.

Prices updated 6 October 2026.

iPhone 16 Pro 128GB, Face ID failed, picture perfect: £310 against £330 working, 6 October 2026.

A cracked or broken iPhone 16 Pro still sells. Cracked glass over a good screen is Picture fine; a bad LCD, with lines or blotches, or a replacement screen is Picture faulty. Face ID not working or a cracked back is allowed in both, though it has to switch on, and a iPhone 16 Pro that won't charge cannot be bought.

The iPhone 16 Pro went on sale in September 2024 with a 6.3 inch OLED screen, which makes it about 2 years old. On a phone this new the details set the price, so we ask about them before you post it rather than after it lands. Get your price in a minute and post it free.

What we know about the iPhone 16 Pro

The first iPhone that records 4K video at 120 frames a second, and the first Pro with the Camera Control on its side.

No pattern has shown up on this one yet, which we would rather say than make something up. The practical thing to know is that Apple grew the Pro screen to 6.3 inches here, so a 15 Pro display will not fit a 16 Pro. Different panel, different cost, different price from us.

Is this the phone you have?

6.3 inches, which is a size Apple had not used before this phone: the 15 Pro is 6.1 and the 16 Pro Max is 6.9. Three cameras, a titanium band, USB-C, and the flush camera button on the right hand edge.

If the screen has gone

The iPhone 16 Pro has a 6.3 inch Super Retina XDR panel running at 120 Hz. A 120 Hz panel is expensive to replace, and most sites use that as their reason to treat a crack as a write off. We repair instead.

With the picture still good, a cracked one runs 128 GB £310, 256 GB £334, 512 GB £335 and 1 TB £343. If the display itself is damaged rather than the glass over it, a 128 GB is £190.

Once the picture itself has gone, a 128 GB still holds 58 per cent, a little above the middle of our range. What a broken iPhone 16 Pro is worth has the rest of the arithmetic.

Exact price for your size

This model came in 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB. Nothing changes between them but capacity: the same 6.3 inch screen, the same cameras and the same battery in all four.

Working, this model runs 128 GB £330, 256 GB £350, 512 GB £355 and 1 TB £365. For comparison, at 128 GB the iPhone 16 Plus pays £50 less and at 256 GB the iPhone 16 Pro Max pays £85 more.

Why sell your iPhone 16 Pro to ReMint?

An iPhone 16 Pro sits near the top of what we buy, and the resale value on one is high enough that we can pay properly even with the screen in pieces.

Free tracked postage, checked within a working day, paid within 48 hours of it arriving, erased to recognised standards with the record kept.

USING ITITS WHOLE LIFE81%spent making it81%spent making it

Making a phone is where the damage is. Not using it. Which is why the greenest phone is one that already exists.

Selling this phone keeps roughly 53 kg of CO2e worth of manufacturing in use.

Where this figure comes from

Apple publishes a lifecycle footprint of 66 kg CO2e for a 128GB iPhone 16 Pro, from mining the materials to recycling the phone. Apple states 81 per cent production. That share of 66 kg is 53 kg.

Keeping a working iPhone 16 Pro going displaces the manufacture of a new one, so we quote the 53 kg rather than the whole 66 kg. Charging it, shipping it and recycling it happen either way.

It says roughly because it assumes your iPhone 16 Pro replaces one that would otherwise have been built. Apple's 66 kg is for the 128GB model as published in September 2024, and a larger size carries a larger footprint.

For a sense of scale, that is the same quantity of CO2e as driving about 200 miles in an average car.

Apple, Product Environmental Report: iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, September 2024. Mileage at 0.26915 kg CO2e per mile, UK Government conversion factors 2025.

Questions people ask before selling

What is an iPhone 16 Pro worth right now?

The quote above answers it exactly, and two things move the number. Size counts here, so check yours in Settings, General, About. Then condition, and the glass and the picture count separately: cracked glass with a good picture underneath is our middle grade, and a fault in the picture itself is the bottom one. Ordering locks your price for 10 days.

What does my iPhone 16 Pro need to do for you to buy it?

It has to switch on, charge, and work. Under 80% battery is priced as Picture fine. Works fine: no cracks, everything works, battery 80% or above. Picture fine: LCD is good, front or back glass can be smashed, and Face ID, a camera, sound or a button can be broken. Picture faulty: bad LCD, or an aftermarket screen, with the same faults allowed.

What counts as Works fine for an iPhone 16 Pro?

An iPhone 16 Pro with whole glass, nothing wrong and a battery of at least 80 per cent. It earns the top figure above.

What counts as Picture fine for an iPhone 16 Pro?

Cracked glass on the front or a cracked back is fine as long as the original LCD shows a clean image; so is a battery under 80 per cent on a phone with no cracks. Face ID, a camera, sound or a button can also be broken.

What counts as Picture faulty for an iPhone 16 Pro?

The picture itself is wrong on this iPhone 16 Pro, or the screen is not original; Face ID, a camera or a button can be broken as well. That is our bottom grade, and it still pays real money because the rest of the phone keeps its value.

My iPhone 16 Pro has a cracked screen. Do I get next to nothing for it?

You will not, as long as the picture underneath is perfect and it is still the original screen. The glass and the picture are graded separately: cracked glass on its own is "picture fine", because the picture is what that word means to us, and a cracked iPhone 16 Pro sits in our middle grade, not the scrap pile. The lower grade is for the picture itself being faulty, lines, blotches, blank patches, or a screen that ignores your finger, and for a non original replacement screen. A cracked back is graded exactly like a cracked front, so it does not drop you down either.

Does low battery health matter on an iPhone 16 Pro?

Only at the 80 per cent line, and a phone as recent as the iPhone 16 Pro is usually still above it. Have a look in Settings, Battery before you choose a grade: at 80 per cent or better, with no cracks or faults, it is Working. Below that it counts as Picture fine, and the quote shows you the difference before you commit to anything.

Can I sell an iPhone 16 Pro that is locked to a network?

Yes, though odds are you do not need to worry at all: UK networks were banned from selling locked handsets in December 2021, so an iPhone 16 Pro bought new here, like nearly every phone from the iPhone 13 onwards, is almost certainly unlocked already. If yours really is locked we still buy it, and a fixed amount, shown in pounds before you commit to anything, comes off the quote, which is what a locked phone costs us to deal with. The free route is better: your network must unlock it at no charge when you ask, usually within a day or two, and only you can ask, because you are the account holder. Do that before you post it, answer unlocked, and the full price is yours.

Do I need to switch off Find My before selling my iPhone 16 Pro?

Yes. Find My is Apple's Activation Lock, and a phone still carrying it cannot be erased or resold, so it must be off before we can pay you. Switch it off in Settings on the iPhone 16 Pro, or from iCloud.com after it has gone in the post. If it arrives still locked we hold it for 14 days so you can remove the lock, rather than sending it straight back.

What if my iPhone 16 Pro will not turn on?

No. We cannot check what is wrong with an iPhone 16 Pro that will not power on, or erase it to a standard we can certify, so any price would be a guess we had to take back later. Your council's recycling centre and any Apple store take it free, which is the right home for a phone nobody can price.

How fast will I be paid for my iPhone 16 Pro, and can the offer drop?

Inspection happens within one working day of arrival, and the money follows by bank transfer within 48 hours of the phone arriving. If the iPhone 16 Pro in front of us does not match what you told us, the price does not just shrink: we send a revised offer with an explanation, and you choose between taking it and having the phone back free.
