Sell your broken
iPhone 13 Pro.
Even with nothing on the screen at all, a 128 GB is £84. That is 60 per cent of the working price rather than the nothing you may have been expecting. An iPhone 13 Pro is expensive enough that a broken screen is an inconvenience to the price rather than the end of it.

What the damage costs you
Working, a 128 GB iPhone 13 Pro pays £140. Glass cracked, picture still perfect: £128, so the crack costs you £12. Picture gone, meaning lines, blots, blank patches or a black screen: £84, so the display costs you £56. The crack costs something, and a faulty picture costs a good deal more, so it is worth knowing which you have.
Those are 128 GB prices, the bottom of this model's range, so a larger one is worth more rather than less. On a panel this good a fault is obvious once you look: a green or pink cast, a band that will not refresh, or a line that stays put while everything else moves. When it is genuinely a toss up, choose the lower grade and let the bench correct it upwards. Our three grades, explained properly.
Where the iPhone 13 Pro sits
That makes the iPhone 13 Pro a little above the middle of our range. 9 of the 32 iPhones on this list come through damage better than that, and 20 come through it worse.
Run the same sum over all 32 of them and a shape appears. Under £50 working, a faulty picture leaves about 41 per cent. At £120 and up it leaves about 57 per cent. The panel has nothing to do with it; the price of the phone has everything to do with it.
Every phone that comes through here costs roughly the same to repair, test, erase and send back out. That is a fixed bill set against a variable phone, and an iPhone 13 Pro is valuable enough that the bill is a modest part of it. Hence the share.
Worth knowing before you send it
The 120 Hz panel is the expensive part. It is also the reason a cracked 13 Pro is worth serious money to somebody who can put a screen in it and worth almost nothing to somebody who cannot.
Sure it is this one?
6.1 inches, three cameras, matte back, stainless steel band, and a notch rather than a pill at the top of the screen. The plain 13 has two lenses. The 14 Pro that followed swapped the notch for the Dynamic Island.
Every size, broken
Picture gone, this model runs 128 GB £84, 256 GB £94, 512 GB £94 and 1 TB £94.
Cracked with the picture good, 128 GB £128, 256 GB £142, 512 GB £142 and 1 TB £145.
The iPhone 13 Pro in one paragraph
The first iPhone with a 120 Hz screen, and the first Pro offered with a terabyte of storage.
One real difference beyond capacity: the 128 GB model records ProRes video at 1080p and 30 frames a second, where every larger size records it at 4K. If somebody bought this phone to film on, that is why they bought the bigger one.
What happens to a broken one here
A 120 Hz panel is the exact part the big sites use as their excuse. They price a broken one as a total loss and send it on to somebody who does what we do. We fit the screen here and sell the phone from the warehouse we share with iMint, so the saving lands in your price.
Free tracked postage, checked within a working day, paid within 48 hours of it arriving, and erased to recognised standards with the record kept.
What to do about the data, the postage and a grade we disagree with is all on the broken iPhone page. Everything else about this phone, damage or no damage, is on the iPhone 13 Pro page. Still deciding? Sell an iPhone with lines or blank patches on the screen.
Broken iPhones either side of this one
Over £120 working they cluster near the top; under £50 they fall away.
