Sell your broken
iPhone 15 Plus.
Even with nothing on the screen at all, a 128 GB is £92. That is 44 per cent of the working price rather than the nothing you may have been expecting. An iPhone 15 Plus is expensive enough that a broken screen is an inconvenience to the price rather than the end of it.

What the damage costs you
Working, a 128 GB iPhone 15 Plus pays £208. Glass cracked, picture still perfect: £170, so the crack costs you £38. Picture gone, meaning lines, blots, blank patches or a black screen: £92, so the display costs you £116. The crack costs something, and a faulty picture costs a good deal more, so it is worth knowing which you have.
Shown for the 128 GB, the smallest this model came in, so nothing here is higher than the phone you have. On an OLED a failing panel shows as a dark blotch, a burnt in shadow of the keyboard, or a line of pixels that has simply stopped. If you cannot tell, pick the lower grade: a phone that turns out better than you described is upgraded at the bench. Our three grades, explained properly.
Where the iPhone 15 Plus sits
That makes the iPhone 15 Plus a little below the middle of our range. Put the 32 models we can price broken in order and it lands with 22 above it and 9 below.
Across the 32 iPhones we buy and can price broken, the ones worth under £50 working keep about 41 per cent of that price with the picture gone, and the ones worth £120 or more keep about 57 per cent. It is the value of the phone that decides it, not the kind of screen in it.
Here the cost of the work is starting to be felt. A panel and an afternoon are the same price on an iPhone 15 Plus as on a phone worth three times as much, and against this one they take a visible bite, which is why it does not sit up with the dearest models.
Worth knowing before you send it
A large battery does fewer full charge cycles for the same amount of use than a small one, so a 15 Plus is often in better health at a given age than a smaller phone of the same year. Check yours in Settings, Battery before you pick a grade.
This model still has the Ring/Silent switch, even though that year's 15 Pro traded its switch for a button. Flick it: with orange visible, the phone is set to silent. USB-C reached iPhone with this generation, so charge from a USB-C cable and check the plug seats firmly with no wobble. Apple built three zoom levels from two lenses here, the ultra wide, the main camera and a 2x setting drawn from its 48 megapixel sensor, and each should be sharp. The back is colour infused glass with a textured matte finish, an industry first by Apple's account, so look across it at an angle for cracks. Yellow or green, with the Dynamic Island, at 6.7 inches means a 15 Plus.
Sure it is this one?
6.7 inches with USB-C, a Dynamic Island and two cameras in a square bump. The 14 Plus is the same size with a notch and Lightning. The 16 Plus is the one with its two lenses in a tall pill.
Every size, broken
Picture gone, this model runs 128 GB £92, 256 GB £102 and 512 GB £102.
Cracked with the picture good, 128 GB £170, 256 GB £190 and 512 GB £190.
The iPhone 15 Plus in one paragraph
It is the cheapest way to get a 6.7 inch iPhone with USB-C, which keeps second hand demand for it steady.
What happens to a broken one here
One of these is still somebody's next phone once the screen is on it, which is the whole reason a broken one is worth a proper number. We repair what can be repaired, take the parts off what cannot, and sell direct rather than down a chain that each takes a cut.
The label is tracked and insured to the value of the quote, the check takes a working day, and the money follows within 48 hours of the phone arriving it.
The practical questions, erasing a phone you cannot see, posting a bad crack safely, changing your mind, are on the broken iPhone page. For the phone rather than the breakage, see the iPhone 15 Plus page. Still deciding? How to check your iPhone storage size.
Broken iPhones either side of this one
Over £120 working they cluster near the top; under £50 they fall away.
