Sell your broken
iPhone 15 Pro.
Smashed, with the picture gone altogether, a 128 GB is worth £160 here: 63 per cent of what the same phone pays working. An iPhone 15 Pro is dear enough that a broken one still has a great deal of phone left in it, and the number says so.

What the damage costs you
Working, a 128 GB iPhone 15 Pro pays £256. Glass cracked, picture still perfect: £243, so the crack costs you £13. Picture gone, meaning lines, blots, blank patches or a black screen: £160, so the display costs you £96. Cracked glass over a working picture is close to free here, which is not true at most places you could send it.
Those are 128 GB prices, the bottom of this model's range, so a larger one is worth more rather than less. On a panel this good a fault is obvious once you look: a green or pink cast, a band that will not refresh, or a line that stays put while everything else moves. When it is genuinely a toss up, choose the lower grade and let the bench correct it upwards. Our three grades, explained properly.
Where the iPhone 15 Pro sits
That makes the iPhone 15 Pro one of the better ones on this site. Put the 32 models we can price broken in order and it lands with 4 above it and 25 below.
Run the same sum over all 32 of them and a shape appears. Under £50 working, a faulty picture leaves about 41 per cent. At £120 and up it leaves about 57 per cent. The panel has nothing to do with it; the price of the phone has everything to do with it.
The screen is the part that meets the floor and very little else does. On an iPhone 15 Pro the board, the cameras and the battery are almost always fine afterwards, and since they are most of the value of the phone, most of the value survives.
Worth knowing before you send it
If you remember the stories about the 15 Pro running hot when it came out, that was real and Apple fixed it in software with iOS 17.0.3. It is not a fault in the phone and it does not affect what we pay.
Hold down the button where older iPhones had a switch. Unless somebody reassigned it, the Action button turns Silent mode on or off, and if it was given another job, such as the torch or the camera, that job should happen instead, which is just as good a test. The port deserves a minute too, because this model brought USB 3 speeds to iPhone, up to 10 gigabits a second over a USB 3 cable, so confirm it charges and that a computer sees it when connected. Tap 3 for the 77 mm telephoto and check the image holds detail. The band is brushed titanium wrapped around an aluminium frame inside, and blue titanium was a finish Apple reserved for this phone and its larger sibling.
Sure it is this one?
6.1 inches, three cameras, USB-C, and a titanium band that is lighter and warmer to the touch than the stainless steel on the 14 Pro. Where the mute switch used to be there is a button you can hold, which is the other giveaway.
Every size, broken
Picture gone, this model runs 128 GB £160, 256 GB £198, 512 GB £203 and 1 TB £203.
Cracked with the picture good, 128 GB £243, 256 GB £267, 512 GB £276 and 1 TB £276.
The iPhone 15 Pro in one paragraph
The first titanium iPhone and the first with the Action button in place of the mute switch.
What happens to a broken one here
The fast panel on an iPhone 15 Pro is expensive, and the scrap minded buyers use that as the reason to offer you almost nothing before selling it on to a workshop. We are the workshop. The repair happens here and the phone goes out from our own warehouse, which is where the difference in your offer comes from.
The label is tracked and insured to the value of the quote, the check takes a working day, and the money follows within 48 hours of the phone arriving it.
The practical questions, erasing a phone you cannot see, posting a bad crack safely, changing your mind, are on the broken iPhone page. For the phone rather than the breakage, see the iPhone 15 Pro page. Still deciding? Trade in or sell? What Apple and the networks do not mention.
